Installing a solar PV system from SunStar Energy is the answer if you're tired of paying high
electric bills, are looking to shield yourself from future energy rate increases, are concerned about the environment and
would like to increase the value of your home. Let us do a site survey. Together we'll determine what your
current usage is and what your potential savings goal is. We then design your custom system. Of course, SunStar takes
care of all the paperwork! We then install the system and you enjoy your savings.
Solar
panels (rooftop or ground-mounted) collect the sun’s energy and convert
it into direct current (DC) electricity. The number of panels required is
determined by an individual’s energy usage. An inverter converts the
electricity from DC to alternating current (AC) for use in your home. A bi-directional
electric meter displays net power usage, or the difference between what your
solar electric system provides and what your energy company provides to meet
your total energy requirements. When you generate more than you use, your
meter spins backward, lowering your energy bill. When you generate less,
it slowly spins forward.
